The Dedalus Press is one of the longest running literary presses in Ireland, specialising in contemporary poetry from Ireland and poetry from around the world in English translation.

With the retirement of its founder John F Deane in early 2005, Dedalus has now entered a second phase under the directorship of poet Pat Boran, himself a longtime Dedalus author (now published in the UK by Salt Publishing).

Recent developments include the addition of secure on-line shopping facilities to the Dedalus Press website (through PayPal), offering Dedalus titles direct to readers at reduced mailing costs and with frequent special offers.
