The customer agrees to be bound by the Dedalus Press Terms & Conditions when purchasing goods from or otherwise making use of this website.


Delivery of items purchased on this site is by An Post standard mail in Ireland (or by courier in the case of larger orders); delivery in other territories and countries by equivalent methods. Where a courier company requires the telephone number of the recipient in order to take receipt of a package for delivery, a customer’s number will be requested by us for that purpose.
Orders ship from us in no more than 2 working days and usually 1 working day after purchase. Estimated delivery times are as follows: Ireland 3 working days; UK and EU 5-7 working days; Rest of World 7-10 working days, though the exact period is outside of our control. Express delivery may be possible, at an additional cost: please inquire in advance of purchase. Items lost in transit or otherwise undelivered 14 days after original purchase may be considered undeliverable: customers should contact us to request replacements.


There is no VAT (value added tax) on books purchased in the Republic of Ireland.

Returns and Refunds

Customers unhappy with their purchases may return same to the Dedalus Press within 14 days of receipt of same, so long as goods are in the same condition as when shipped by us; where refunds apply these will be arranged within 7 days. Online payments to the Dedalus Press for website purchases are made via PayPal or Stripe, therefore refunds will be made through the same systems. Customers with whom we have agreed to accept payment by cheque or other means may be refunded in a similar fashion. In all instances customers should first make contact with Dedalus Press staff before goods are returned.

Alteration of Service, Revisions or Amendments to Terms & Conditions

The Dedalus Press reserves the right to make changes to our website, Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions at any time. Customers will be bound by the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions in force at the time of purchase or visit. For this reason, we encourage you to review these Terms and Conditions whenever you make purchases from this site.

The entire content of the Dedalus Press website is protected by Irish and international copyright law and agreements and no part of same, whether text, images, audio or video content or other custom elements, may be reproduced elsewhere without prior written permission of Dedalus Press.

Governing law and jurisdiction

Any disputes, claims or proceedings arising out of or in any way relating to the Dedalus Press web site shall be governed by the laws of Ireland and any commercial interaction via this web site shall be deemed to signify submission to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
